How to Persuade and Get Paid – by Phil Jones. This audiobook comes in the form of a seminar. Phil gives many, many examples and key reminders of what we need to do to persuade people (and not just customers) to get what we want. A great reminder of many of the fundamentals of persuasion.

Best Books I’ve Read Recently
The Miracle of Mindfulness – by Thich Nhat Hanh. As a CEO, you will feel pressure virtually every day. Whether that pressure is to deliver a financial result, or gain a new customer, or to manage a human resources situation. This book is really about how to manage the pressures in your life, and live a happy life no matter what is going on. Adopting these practices is invaluable.

Artificial Intelligence: A Guide for Thinking Humans – by Melanie Mitchell. This is a guide for the non-technical executive to gain an understanding of how AI works. Any CEO who wants to ask intelligent questions about AI can benefit.

Anything You Want: 40 Lessons for a New Kind of Entrepreneur – by Derek Sivers. Derek is an iconoclast who wasn’t interested in making money, but he did, and lots of it. I don’t agree with a lot of his lessons, but they worked for him. Could they work for you? Derek proves there is no one formula for success and we all need to take our own path.
