Best Books I’ve Read Recently
The Miracle of Mindfulness – by Thich Nhat Hanh. As a CEO, you will feel pressure virtually every day. Whether that pressure is to deliver a financial result, or gain a new customer, or to manage a human resources situation. This book is really about how to manage the pressures in your life, and live a happy life no matter what is going on. Adopting these practices is invaluable.

Anything You Want: 40 Lessons for a New Kind of Entrepreneur – by Derek Sivers. Derek is an iconoclast who wasn’t interested in making money, but he did, and lots of it. I don’t agree with a lot of his lessons, but they worked for him. Could they work for you? Derek proves there is no one formula for success and we all need to take our own path.
